About the Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join our client's engineering team. Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
Build and maintain microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs that serve high-volume traffic
Develop cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services and best practices
Design and optimize database solutions using NoSQL technologies, particularly DynamoDB
Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code while adhering to coding standards and architectural best practices
Participate in code reviews, identify bugs, and provide constructive feedback to team members
Debug complex issues, perform performance tuning, and optimize system efficiency across distributed environments
Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Grafana and related tools to ensure system reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions
Contribute to architecture discussions and support the development of large-scale, distributed applications
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and ensure adherence to SDLC processes
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in backend development and cloud computing
Requirememnts:
6+ years of professional experience in Java Backend Development
Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+ with deep understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns
Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture design and implementation
Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) and proven problem-solving skills
Demonstrated experience designing and developing REST APIs with proper error handling and validation
Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native application development
Strong experience with NoSQL databases, particularly DynamoDB, including schema design and optimization
Proficiency with Git and version control best practices
Proven experience working on large-scale, high-volume distributed systems
Strong understanding of application scalability, resiliency, and performance optimization principles
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana
Excellent debugging, analytical, and coding skills with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding standards
Experience with message queues and event-driven architectures
Contribution to open-source projects or demonstrated passion for continuous learning
Experience with agile development methodologies
