About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in the Water and Wastewater industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing site execution, supporting design and documentation processes, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. Candidate must have experience managing and executing STP projects above 50 MLD with end-to-end project execution experience including installation, erection, commissioning. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, project management capabilities, and effective communication with clients and consultants.
Requirements
Site Execution:
Supervise and manage mechanical works at project sites.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
Execution and Installation of Mechanical equipments.
Design & Documentation Support:
Provide inputs for the preparation of shop drawings.
Assist in the extraction and verification of Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
Prepare and review material submittals and method statements.
Project Planning & Coordination:
Develop manpower schedules and resource allocation plans.
Monitor progress to ensure alignment with project timelines.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
Client & Consultant Interaction:
Maintain clear and professional communication with stakeholders.
Attend project meetings and provide updates on execution and planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification.
Minimum 8 years of experience in the Water and Wastewater industry.
Candidate must have managed and executed STP plants above 50 MLD capacity.
Proven experience in site execution and project coordination.
